The rear elevation of River House is now shrouded in scaffolding as work gets underway to transform this major Belfast landmark building into some 90,000 sq ft of Grade A offices.
London developer Castleforge Partners acquired River House last year, and is undertaking a full refurb to include a new glazed curtain wall system; double height foyer; raised access floors and floorplates of around 6,000 sq ft.
PAI members McConnells are managing agents and joint letting agents with CBRE on the scheme.
Commenting on the project Rory McConnell, director at McConnells, says "River House is ideally placed on the edge of Cathedral Quarter in the heart of Belfast City Centre, and we expect to see strong demand from office occupiers. The redevelopment is due to complete in Q2 2018 and will deliver much needed space in a market where demand for Grade A offices far outstrips supply".
