PAI members collaborate in the sale of Lake District holiday complex

Acting on behalf of Motoring and Leisure Services Ltd, PAI member Flude Property Consultants (FPC) are delighted to have concluded the sale of Parkergate Farmhouse and Cottages, which are situated right in the heart of the Lake District National Park just 5 miles away from Keswick. FPC acted jointly with fellow PAI member Peill & Co.

The 2.49 acre site offers a 4-bedroomed farmhouse, six self-contained letting cottages, a former barn, generous gardens and a large paddock. The freehold sale is a superb opportunity for the new owner-operator. The accommodation was sold fully equipped ready for trade to continue, and the properties are fitted out to a very good standard.

Subject to consent, there is also potential to increase the number of letting units on site offering the new owner-occupier further opportunity to expand the self-catering holiday complex.

FPC director, Will Thomas, commented, “This particular opportunity generated a great deal of interest and represents the very type of lifestyle opportunity that is so sought after at the moment. The deal was concluded with our joint agent and PAI partner, Simon Adams of Peill & Co and was sold to new entrants to the industry, who relocated to the Lake District.

This sale follows the successful sale of the similar Treworgie Barton complex in North Cornwall that we announced just a few weeks’ prior and is the latest of our increasing number of leisure based property transactions”.
