The last few months have had to see PAI members Clark Weightman adapt to new working patterns and routines, but during that time they have continued to work hard for clients across a wide variety of commercial property instructions.
Having spent the majority of the last four months working from home the focus now is to spend the majority of time working from the office. Staff will still work from home where appropriate, but by embracing technology it will feel like they are all under one roof. Clark Weightman have digested the Government guidance and the advice issued by RICS and are confident that their office is Covid Secure and that they can work safely both in the office and whilst out on property inspections and viewings with potential occupiers. Don’t expect to shake hands and they will be keeping a safe distance.
It is apparent that there is increased activity in all market areas and enquiries from occupiers and investors are pretty much back to the levels experienced pre-lockdown. Requests for secured lending valuations are steadily increasing along with the usual array of consultancy work. A lot of time has been spent working with landlord clients and their tenants ensuring timely rent payments during the period of lockdown and where tenants were unable to pay rent the firm has liaised with them to understand the issues their businesses faced and have agreed appropriate repayment plans that are sustainable for the tenant and also enabling the landlord to meet their financial commitments.

• Sale of former Immingham Police Station.
• Industrial property with redevelopment potential brought to the market on Cleveland Street in Hull.
